Pablo Neruda is listed as having died both September 23 and September 24?
Giving precise dates to ancient Islamic events is risky. Such dates are recorded in the Hijri calendar. Since this calendar depends upon human observation of the new moon, which was affected by weather, position of the observer (mountains in the way etc.) and reverse projection based on astronomical tables may be out by a day (or even two) in either direction.
[edit] EU Democracy Day
EU Democracy Day is September 24 (see [1]). I am not sure how to add a note on this to this article though...? --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus 20:21, 24 Sep 2004 (UTC)
[edit] 1st day of Ramadan?
I believe this is the first day of Ramadan in 2006, shouldn't this be noted on the holidays page?
[edit] Blood Sugar Sex Magik?
Red Hot Chili Peppers released this album on this day in 1991, I believe that it should be noted as this album has been in numerous top 100 lists. Adamravenscroft 17:30, 24 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Re: Blood Sugar etc.
That is against the guidlines of Wikipedia unfortunately, no album releases or music release dates are allowed to be posted. For the obvious reason that the list would blow out of proportion and album releases aren't historically significant.
