Quick question

Hey Senators, haven't talked or anything in a while. I just wanted to ask you a quick question. Is it possible to create a Category for myself. I may not have as many user-sub-pages as other people. But I thought it might be possible to create one. Please message me back. JpGrB 20:12, 7 June 2007 (UTC)

Anything?

Is there anything I can do to possibly help myself manage my page? Because I'm a very disorganized person. Haha. If not, I understand, I was just wondering. JpGrB 00:31, 9 June 2007 (UTC)

Ford Falcon

Hi Senators, how are you? The article is going well and I hope you will be able to help it. Thanks Harrison-HB4026 10:14, 14 June 2007 (UTC)

Ford EL Falcon

Hi Senators,

Because you have contributed to other Falcon articles previously, I thought you might like to help me out with Ford EL Falcon when you've got some time. SkyIsFalling 13:34, Thursday, 14 June 2007

Just a quick note to thank you for your efforts so far. I plan on returning to edit it further when (if) my non-Wiki committments clear up. SkyIsFalling 13:18, Sunday, 17 June 2007

Falcon Article Reassess

  • Sorry, I was in a rush. It means Please see Talk: Ford FalconHarrison-HB4026 03:01, 17 June 2007 (UTC)

P.S. The next time I am in town and with my camera I will take some photos of Falcons that I see. The AU Falcon picture is terrible. Harrison-HB4026 03:01, 17 June 2007 (UTC)

AU Falcon

For some reason I don't think the AU looks like crap- beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Harrison-HB4026 04:57, 17 June 2007 (UTC)

P.S Even thought their looks are unpopular, we should still get a better picture because the AU in that picture makes the car look even worse. Harrison-HB4026 05:00, 17 June 2007 (UTC)

One interesting thing I saw about them is that they were more reliable than the Commodore. I like them because they were the first real Falcon that didn't look like a commodore. Harrison-HB4026 05:02, 17 June 2007 (UTC)

What model phone do you have (e.g Motorola V3 etc.)Harrison-HB4026 05:08, 17 June 2007 (UTC)

Front page featured article

In answer to your question, the FA on the front page is chosen by User:Raul654. Holden VE Commodore has already been nominated at WP:TFA/R#Holden VE Commodore for July 16. VectorD 02:11, 19 June 2007 (UTC)

Ford BA Falcon overhaul

Regarding your question as to whether or not I am willing to overhaul your BA Falcon article, the answer is yes. Although I was hoping to finish of the Holden Commodore article, I can see you really do want the BA article to reach GA status, and I will help you there. As a precaution, I would appreciate it if you would stop editing the article while I am making such changes, since it, gets will get in the way of what I am doing and will slow me down. That does not mean you cannot make ANY changes, just major ones. I would have no issues if you were just fixing up an image alignment or spelling issues. While I am on the topic of spelling, please do not change the Australian English spelling to American English, since the BA is an Australian car. I assume that you used Microsoft Word or something similar to do this.

BTW, in future, if you start a discussion on my user talk page, I will reply to it there, and vice versa. Cheers OSX (talkcontributions) 10:30, 20 June 2007 (UTC)

  • Ill help you too. I think we should make the Ford Falcon article a collaboration and make the AU and EL Falcon articles GA status. Harrison-HB4026 11:09, 20 June 2007 (UTC)
With regards to your query, I will try to help where possible. However, I'm a bit busy at the moment so I probably won't be able to do much. Having a look at your references, I think you can rethink some of them rather than just change the format. There seems to be a bunch of them for carsales.com.au: one for each trim level in fact. I think you can get away with having less. Try focusing more on the car's engineering history and market reaction rather than referencing each trim's standard/optional features (unless it's something truly ground-breaking or important). Orphaned non-free image (Image:IRS.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:IRS.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 03:27, 21 June 2007 (UTC)

Mainpage request

Hi Senators, I was wondering if you would be able to express your support of the Holden VE Commodore article appearing on the mainpage by voting here: [1]. Normally voting is unnecessary, but their is another article competing with that date (July 16). Cheers OSX (talkcontributions) 08:27, 3 July 2007 (UTC)

Adoption

Yes i agree to the adoption thing dwilliams 04:04, 4 July 2007 (UTC)

RE: Need Help?

Not just at the moment. I might write something relating to Vista tips some time later. At the moment I am working on a project which you can veiw here.

Ford Falcon Appearance

Hi Senators, the article is starting to sound quite good now but I believe that we should now tidy up the article and make it presentable. In my opinion, it is a bit messy right now around the fourth gen. (generation) onwards. What do you think? Thanks Harrison-HB4026 05:14, 5 July 2007 (UTC)

Sorry Harrison-HB4026 03:20, 6 July 2007 (UTC)

Ford Falcon sales figures question

I've replied to your message on my talkpage and I'm just notifying you here as per your request. I like to keep all conversations on the one talkpage, otherwise it becomes hard to follow. VectorD 07:15, 7 July 2007 (UTC)

Barnstar

The Working Man's Barnstar
This is for all of the work that you have do (and have already done) for the Ford Falcon article. Thankyou. Harrison-HB4026 02:02, 9 July 2007 (UTC)

P.S I Gave User: OSX one too.

My Pleasure

It is my pleasure to give you the award. Not to sound rude but could you help me fix the AU article like I asked?

Replaceable fair use Image:VC_Commodore.jpg

Replaceable fair use

Thanks for uploading Image:VC_Commodore.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that fair use images which could be replaced by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted 7 days after this notification, per our Fair Use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. – Quadell (talk) (random) 03:41, 16 July 2007 (UTC)
