I think that it is such a shame that we couldn't preserve this people's culture into these days and beyond. They had to abandon their rich dreaming culture because of us, which is even of loss to us. We killed much knowledge about dreaming, by doing this to them, and now we'll have to research it again.

Response: Consider it the consequence of the generally assimilated humanity of pundits with many predisposed assumptions. It is very unfortunate, and perhaps it can be realised that dogmatism in any regard is not expedient of attaining a rudimentary understanding of the world on an a priori level--or logical-metaphysical or even mathematical. Case in point, the scientific method is simply a manifestation of dogmatism within the scientific community and is widely cultivated with approval.
