Sentharapatti is a panchayat town in Salem district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.
In Ganagavali, "Sendarapatti" signifies "Temple City", and the town is filled with temples such as Murugan Temple, Mariamman Temple, Perumal Temple, Angaalamman Temple, Sivan Temple, and many more. Surrounded by tall mountains, the town is situated next to a large lake.
The main industry in the town is the production of neem oil, neem cakes, and neem fertilizer.

In the 2001 Indian census,[1] Sentharapatti had a population of 13,891. Males constitute 50% of the population and females 50%. Sentharapatti has an average literacy rate of 57%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 65%, and female literacy is 48%. In Sentharapatti, 11% of the population is under 6 years of age.
