[edit] Biography

The band first came to prominence supporting the likes of Ulrich Schnauss, The Early Years, Editors, The Telescopes, Explosions In The Sky and Mark Gardener of Ride. Many of these early gigs were at the influential shoegaze club nights Club AC 30 and Sonic Cathedral.

The band's debut album, Widows, was released in late 2005 to huge critical acclaim and featured in Drowned In Sound's Top 50 Albums of 2005 where it was described as "a remarkably assured debut" [1].

Sennen recorded their 2nd album, due for release May 2008, with Primal Scream/House of Love producer Pat Collier. According to an interview with the BBC the band found this experience to be more challenging but creatively much higher yielding. Some tracks feature live strings and the sound is generally moving away from the stereotypical shoegazer style. [2]
