Senior juz (Kazakh: Ұлы жүз, Great juz) is one of three main tradional divisions of the Kazakh nation. Senior Juz is located in the Jeti-su area.

The Great juz completed its present form by the beginning of the 16th century.

In the 19th century, the Kazakh population of the Great juz was about 550 thousand people.
