Send (HM Prison)

Send is a women's prison in Send, near Woking in Surrey, England. The site was originally an isolation hospital and became junior detention centre in 1962. In 1987 it became a Category C training prison for adult males. It was rebuilt in 1999 and is now a closed female training prison. It has a capacity of 218.
Famous inmates include Jane Andrews, a friend of the Duchess of York serving life for killing her boyfriend Thomas Cressman[1] and Tracie Andrews who received 14 years for murdering her fiancé Lee Harvey.
