SendEmail

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

sendEmail is a command-line outgoing e-mail SMTP client. It is used for sending e-mails from command-line, i.e. from DOS or UNIX command shells, and can therefore be easily embedded into other applications through the system calls. Software is a freeware available for various platforms.

All fields of the sent e-mails (such as the sender and reply-to address, list of recipients in To, Cc and Bcc fields, message body and subject, attachments, etc.) are defined through command-line arguments, as well as other parameters (such as the SMTP server name, user and password for SMTP account, network timeouts, etc.).

The sendEmail client was written by Brandon Zehm.
