The Senate of Madagascar (Sénat) is the upper chamber of the bicameral Parliament of Madagascar. The Senate has 90 members. Sixty members, 10 for each province, are elected by provincial electors. The other thirty members are appointed by the President. Next Senate elections will be held in 2008.
