Hello, welcome to Wikipedia!

There are many useful things which are traditionally posted in large numbers, but they're all linked to from Wikipedia:Welcome, newcomers, so I'll not clutter your talk page with them. Instead, I'll point to the two places which aren't linked to from there, which are categories you can place yourself in: Wikipedia:Babel and Category:Wikipedians in Pennsylvania (or New York, as it were.)

Again, welcome!

[edit] Notes to self (school pages)

Use Template:New York City DOE Region10 and make sure pages exist for Louis Brandeis HS (or is that Region 9?) and A. Philip Randolph HS. Also Evander Childs -- subschools in an educational campus should share a page? Or not? Check for comments in that discussion. -Semisomna, 04:04, 29 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Re: random JROTC question

I'm not entirely sure—as it doesn't seem that there are any JROTC categories at the moment—but I would place them somewhere under Category:Military youth groups. Having said that, I'm not really convinced that these groups all need individual articles; they may be better off being merged with the articles on the relevant schools themselves.
