[edit] prod
I removed the prod because a quick google brought up results that were not related to or facimiles of wikipedia. I think the definition and more than token list of examples gives it enough depth to warrant an article, beyond a meer dictionary definition which wouldn't. If you still think it should be deleted, I suggest nominating it for Deletion: WP:AFD. ViridaeTalk 04:38, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Please stop deleting this list
To the people who keep (effectively) deleting this list. Please stop. Thank you.
1. Almost all the content was deleted without discussion. The article was then nominated for deletion when it was devoid of content, and there was virtually no discussion.
2. This is NOT a list of dictionary definitions, and WINAD is not applicable as has been claimed.
3. This is an interesting list that is hard to find elsewhere, and I have even seen it referred to outside of WIkipedia.
4. It is disappointing that you cannot find anything more constructive to do than keep deleting a useful article that is interesting to those people who are interested in such things. If you really you have to then please move the list to Wiktionary and fix up the Wikipedia links so it's easy to find. Otherwise please stop deleting it. Thank you very much for your cooperation. - Kindly read WP:WINAD before falsely claiming it does not apply. Lists based solely on lexicographic coincidences have no place whatsoever on Wikipedia. If you want to submit it someplace where it does belong, which would include but not be limited to Wiktionary, you are free to do so. But in the meantime, we have absolutely no obligation to keep it here. —Cryptic 11:20, 22 April 2007 (UTC)

- I have read WP:WINAD, thank you. I do not see anything in it that disqualifies this article. And please do not presume to use the word "we" as if you are speaking for the entire community of Wikipedia users. Please appreciate that others may find this list useful, and that is doing no harm to those, such as yourself, who are not interested. If you wish to move it to Wiktionary and fix up the links then I will not object, but it is your responsibility to do so. Thank you. Matt 14:16, 10 May 2007 (UTC).
