Talk:Semantic differential

I'm having an Alan Sokal deja-vu. Unless this article is made intelligible, it sounds like faux postmodernist waffle. JFW | T@lk 10:10, 12 July 2005 (UTC)

Wolff, I wrote this article and I erased it. Please keep it this way. I do not want to associate myself with a project dominated by editors who resort to personal attacks like you do. Cruise

It's Jfdwolff for you. I am not saying anything about you but about the article, so my response was not a personal attack by any standard. JFW | T@lk 22:56, 12 July 2005 (UTC)

Oh, and if you are dissociating yourself from Wikipedia will you also leave kosher alone? JFW | T@lk 23:00, 12 July 2005 (UTC)

In the movie version of Michael Crichton's book Congo, one of the protagonists is interrogated by the local police chief. During the interrogation he remarks - this is like in Kafka. The police chiefs starts beating him and screams: "Who is Kafka? Tell me who is Kafka!" The question "Who is Osgood?" appended by one of the "expert Wikipedia editors," is like the question of the police chief "Who is Kafka?" Anyway, Osgood's book is referenced at the bottom of the article.
