Semi-Mental Journey is the debut release of the recording artist USER, released in 1996

Most of the tracks were recorded at Vancouver's landmark Profile Studios. The CD includes 11 cuts of boisterous AVANT pop, bone crunchin beats, giant gut slycing guitar and a little vapors to make it go down smooth.

In 1997, the single Cyclops reached the eyes of the nation via rotation on Much Music and a national Indie spotlight. 4 years later, the video still garnered tons of views on the US Comcast Network being voted more the once as top music video.

In 2001, USER received positive UK press and live on the air interviews with London's NOW TV. As USER puts it, "That video went a round the world and back".
