Semen llyich Bogdanov (1894–1960) was a Soviet Marshal of the Armour.
From the start of the Great Patriotic War (1941–45) he was commander of the 30th tank division. Later, he was the deputy commander of the 10th Tank Army, commander of a tank and mechanized corps, commander of the 2nd Tank Army transformed into a Guards Army in November 1944.
Units under Semen Bogdanov's command took part in the Battle of Moscow, in the Korsun-Shevchenkovsky, Belarusian, Vistula-Oder, East Pomeranian and Berlin operations.

He was twice made a Hero of the Soviet Union and was awarded many other orders and medals.
