See Julian calendar—this is under the old calendar used until the Gregorian calendar came into use. This is also the reason why history books report two dates for the birthdate of historical figures such as George Washington (see Old Style and New Style dates). --Spangineerws (háblame) 02:34, 8 January 2007 (UTC)
