[edit] Phyrric?

What was Phyrric about the Zulu victory? They suffered ~3000 casualties out of a force of 22,000 defeating the British solidly and were still in a position to make further advancements at the British. Ther was no devastating loss resulting from the battle, IMO. Narson (talk) 12:50, 22 January 2008 (UTC)

The Selected anniversaries pages usually defer to supporting pages for facts. In this case, the Battle of Isandlwana article current has the following words: "Pyrrhic Zulu victory". Zzyzx11 (Talk) 05:09, 23 January 2008 (UTC)

Seems to be somewhat disputed. When I looked it said decisive. Now it says neither. Narson (talk) 08:05, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
