Talk:Selected court cases in the Terri Schiavo case

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

All this was gutted from the Terri Schiavo article in an attempt to win "Featured article" status. Never mind that the original article now has a chronological hole for several years of Terri's life. FuelWagon 16:48, 25 September 2005 (UTC)

The general concept for shortening was approved by consensus in the Featured Article page -by a wide margin.

To your credit, I agree that shortening the article is BAD, but consensus went against me here. No items were removed from the timeline, only placed in sub-articles.--GordonWatts 20:34, 25 September 2005 (UTC)

Gordon, the FA article "consensus" was to shorten the article if you want it to get featured article status. That is not an order you ahve to follow. it is a hurdle you have to jump if you want Terri Schiavo to get FA status. I don't want it so badly that I'm willing to cut 10 years out of the article. This didn't shorten the article at all, it just pushed it into two pages. FuelWagon 21:12, 25 September 2005 (UTC)

Taxman reverted you to one of my prior versions. Notice that when comparing my versino and Taxman's here, they are the samne. so, he agrees with me on the major points, and you are voted out. Try again.--GordonWatts 21:16, 25 September 2005 (UTC)
