[edit] History
Selltis L.L.C. was founded in April, 1999, by two employees of distributor Breard-Gardner, Inc. [1] During their time at the corporation, sales executive Brian Gardner collaborated with programming specialist Mario Igrec to develop a tool to help employees cultivate their pre-sales customer relationships, rather than just their sales orders. After a successful deployment of the Selltis software, Gardner and Igrec were contacted by other companies interested in using it, so the two modified the program for commercial use.
In May, 1998, the Houston-based Rawson & Company, Inc. became the first customer of Selltis. [2] Today, hundreds of small, mid-level, and large businesses pay a monthly fee to utilize Selltis’ CRM software.

[edit] Acclaim
Selltis won the 2002 CRM Excellence award from the Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC). [4]
In 2007, venture capital firms Advantage Capital Partners and Enhanced Capital Partners contributed funding to the launch of Selltis 5.0. They said they invested because they were impressed with the organization’s “Software as a Service” business model (SaaS). [5]
