Selling Innocence is a made-for-TV movie that shows and condemns the exploitation of teens on the web today.

The movie is a coproduction between, Edmonton based television production company, ImagiNation, Montreal's Cite-Amerique, and CTV, for their line of TV-movies, collectively known as the CTV Signature Series. It made it's broadcast premiere on July, 2, 2005, on the Canadian Television network, CTV. Selling Innocence, was also broadcast on US based Lifetime.

Mia Sampson's (Sarah Lind) dreams to be a model come true when she's asked to pose for photographs to be displayed on an Internet website for "members only." However, when the owner of the website uses her pictures for exploitation purposes, Mia's mother (Mimi Rogers) must fight to remove the photos off the web and restore her daughter's privacy.

Malcolm tells Mia that she signed away the rights to the photographs taken of her. This is not legal as Mia is under the age of eighteen and only her mother can do this.
