Selizharovo

Selizharovo (Russian: Селижа́рово) is an urban-type settlement in Tver Oblast, Russia, the administrative centre of Selizharovsky District. It is situated at the confluence of the Selizharovka and the Volga Rivers. Population: 7,200 (2006 est.); 7,330 (2002 Census); 7,668 (1989 Census).

It was first mentioned in chronicles in 1504.

At Selizharovo, there is a 350 metres tall guyed TV mast, built in 1971.
