Performed upon the 10th anniversary of the popular tejano singer's death, Selena ¡VIVE! is a tribute concert featuring some of Latin music's biggest stars. Recorded at Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas on April 7th, 2005, the musicians in this concert perform a series of Selena's songs, both well-known and more obscure. The songs featured include talents like Thalia, Gloria Estefan, Aleks Syntek, Ana Gabriel, Fey, Paulina Rubio and many others, with nine songs in all. The songs were performed to honor Selena's legacy after ten years of her passing on March 31, 1995. The album has sold about 50,000 copies in the U.S. alone and 80,000 worldwide.
