Selectmen of Boston

The Selectmen of Boston (aka Boston Selectmen) were one of the first governing bodies in the America's to declare independence from Great Britain. Some of the members of selectmen were John Hancock, Joseph Jackson, Samuel Sewall, W. Phillips, Timothy Newell, John Ruddock, John Rowe and Samuel Pemberton. These men were directly involved with the Boston Tea Party.
