SELEX Sensors and Airborne Systems S.p.A. (SELEX S&AS) is a major defence electronics company owned by Finmeccanica. SELEX S&AS was created by the merger of the avionics businesses of Finmeccanica and part of BAE Systems:

  • Galileo Avionica — became a subsidiary of SELEX Sensors and Airborne Systems S.p.A.
  • BAE Systems Avionics — renamed SELEX Sensors and Airborne Systems Limited, became a subsidiary of SELEX Sensors and Airborne Systems S.p.A.
