[edit] Pippa Black
- Thanks for experimenting with Wikipedia. The links you added to the page Pippa Black have been removed. Please do not add commercial links—or links to your own private websites—to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or a mere collection of external links. You are, however, encouraged to add content instead of links. See the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thanks. Robwingfield (talk) 08:30, 16 June 2006 (UTC)

- I'd be interested as to what your definition of a "commercial site" is and why you feel the need to remove on topic sites for this reason (especially ones which contain more information about the given subject that the wiki article in the first place. -- SeK612 10:21, 16 June 2006 (UTC).

[edit] 3 clicks and you're out???
- Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia under the three-revert rule, which states that nobody may revert an article to a previous version more than three times in 24 hours. (Note: this also means editing the page to reinsert an old edit. If the effect of your actions is to revert back, it qualifies as a revert.) Thank you. Robwingfield (talk) 12:14, 16 June 2006 (UTC)

- Quite. I'm aware of the rule now and don't appear to have been penalised in anyway. This rule equally applies to you and your edits to the page in question and if anything this whole problem revolves around your intial unfair edits to a page which had been left intact by all other users in the months the article has been online -- SeK612 13:58, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
Please do not remove messages from your talk page. Talk pages exist as a record of communication, and in any case, comments are available through the page history. [edit] Fair use
Why do you delete an copyrighted item permitted under the Fair Use doctrine? --Ludvikus 16:00, 28 December 2006 (UTC)
- From what I have seen on Wikipedia I would doubt the image posted (on the Sarah Chalke article) would fall under fair use. You are free to reinstate it but it's probably best you clear things up with someone with more knowledge about how to class the image (it appears that the images has been removed a second time by someone else). -- SeK612 18:13, 28 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Carla-Bonner.co.ukNeighboursE4911E4915004.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Carla-Bonner.co.ukNeighboursE4911E4915004.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you.
