[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Jushin.jpg

Image:Jushin.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit] Response to comment on my talk page

This comment was posted by an anon user on my talk page

"Hi! I noticed that you have being doing a lot of editing on the Sekiguchi Ryu page, one thing I noticed is that you put a comment on there about hte Shin Shin Branch. This comfused me, so I thought I would ask: You do know that Sekiguchi Ryu and Sekiguchi Shin Shin Ryu are the same school, one being an abbreviated name...correct?
Thanks!

I figured here would be the best place to respond, because I just wanted to note that the reason I moved the page was twofold. One, I realize that the mainline Sekiguchi-ryu is also known as Sekiguchi Shinshin-ryu. I felt that it was better to err on the side of using the simpler name. Two, there is a separate branch of Sekiguchi-ryu that calls itself Sekiguchi Shinshin-ryu (with different kanji) so I wanted to avoid any future conflicts. That's a good reason, but here is the kicker. These aren't branches of the same school...they are totally different schools with different founders and lineages. There were three bearing the name phonetic name, a quick peek in the Bugeiryuha Daijiten "clears it up" fast (or at least as much as possible). There are NUMEROUS schools bearing the name Sekiguchi ryu as well...it seems that more detail might be needed on a single, Sekiguchi page and perhaps moving the Sekiguchi Shinshin Ryu to another page with the same name.

Ok, well I just going off the Serge Mol book, I don't have access to the Bugei Ryuha Daijiten. Bradford44 (talk) 15:37, 12 January 2008 (UTC)
