Seithur - சேத்தூர் is a panchayat town in Virudhunagar district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.

As of 2001 India census[1], Seithur had a population of 18,193. Males constitute 51% of the population and females 49%. Seithur has an average literacy rate of 85%, male literacy is 90%, and female literacy is 59%. In Seithur, 11% of the population is under 6 years of age.
