[edit] Needs sources
I grew up in good 'ol Seguin, and the trivia stuff at the beginning of the article is true; however, it's unsourced. When I get a chance, I'll try and get some sources. Cap'n Walker 21:33, 7 August 2007 (UTC)
Okay, sourced better, removing the citations tag. I dumped the part about the low mosquito population, I couldn't find anything about that other than an unsubstantiated claim made on a realtor's website. If anyone can source it, please feel free to bring it back. Cap'n Walker 20:41, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
- I added the stuff about the True Women novel and movie; I'm a little iffy on its inclusion, but I figured that a little shithouse town like Seguin (I can say that because I grew up there) being featured in a big-time novel and movie is notable. Cap'n Walker 21:10, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
Is the motto really "birthplace of michelle vogel"? Isn't it "Jewel of the Guadalupe" or something like that? Looks like Michelle is trying to pull a fast one on the Wikipedia community. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 168.149.129.245 (talk) 19:11, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
