Segunda División 1971-72

The 1971-72 Segunda División season saw 20 teams participate in the second flight Spanish league. Real Oviedo, CD Castellón and Real Zaragoza were promoted to the Primera División. Villarreal CF, Ferrol, Jerez Deportivo and UP Langreo were relegated to the Tercera División.
