[edit] Bengal Cat information
Hello Seduisant, you removed at least 3 times a link added to the Bengal Cat page. I'm not sure you went to the site and read a little. It used to be a cattery but it is not anymore,so no cattery advertising there, just Bengal information: colors, patterns, genetics, etc (so instead of linking each section I just linked the home page where clearly says the cattery is not breeding anymore). It's not a vanity site, and definitely not advertising, so pls reconsider your deletion from Bengal cat page pls. Many thanks!
PS: that article already has 2 links to 2 diff. active cattery sites: "Picture Chart of Bengal Colors & Patterns" and "Bengal Genetics" (those are 2 links to 2 active catteries, not like the one I was trying to add) Pls excuse if something I understood wrong but I'm new to wikipedia, I'm just starting to contribute :) 200.127.254.141 (talk) 14:21, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Alfred Louis
The article Alfred Hyman Louis has been deleted as it was a verbatim copy of Vogler's Oxford DNB article. Please do not add copyrighted material to Wikipedia. Thank you, Angus McLellan (Talk) 13:07, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] License tagging for Image:OctavianCover.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:OctavianCover.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.
For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 19:12, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:OctavianCover.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:OctavianCover.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Rettetast (talk) 14:02, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
