Sedreck Fields

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Sedreck Sylvester Fields, born September 11, 1972 in Augusta, GA, is a heavyweight boxer. Nicknamed "Big Buck", Fields is a journeyman fighter who fought several significant fighters of his era.

Fields turned pro in 1997 and has been a prototypical heavyweight journeyman. Having only won 22 fights while losing 30, it seems Fields has been marked as a boxer who greater talents have used to pad their own records. Having said that, the biggest win of Fields's career was a majority decision over former WBO champion Shannon Briggs in 2000. Fields also has a victory over Alfred Cole and a draw with heavyweight prospect Damian Wills. He has lost to many notable heavyweights, including Tye Fields, Ruslan Chagaev, Larry Donald, Oleg Maskaev, Luan Krasniqi, Derrick Jefferson, and Serguei Lyakhovich.
