"Blutbad in Bazeilles", by Prof. Carl Röchling (died 1920), taken from "Krieg gegen Frankreich 70/71" by T.H. Lindner.

It depicts "Bayrische Soldaten stürmen ein Haus": Bavarian soldiers entering a house from which they were ambushed by French prior to the Battle of Sedan during the Franco-Prussian War.
