After the first Manchu expedition to Korea, the Joseon Dynasty remained unfaithful to the Manchus.

Korea was under no obligation to be "faithful" to the Manchus. It's 2004, Nanshu. Did you really have to write this article from a 17th-century Manchu point of view? I didn't change the article because you would just revert it. --Sewing 14:59, 16 Mar 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Korea became a client state

Chosun Dynasty was longer then Qing Dynasty. Chosun Dynasty lasted 500 years. Korea and Korean exist today what about Manchu and Qing Dynasty. In the end Manchu's became a client to Korea. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 211.63.207.51 (talk) 12:28, 5 February 2008 (UTC)

Korea became a client state to China after Second Manchu invasion of Korea The article does not clearly mention about Korean's client state to Sino-China. One of the oldest korean flag clearly states "大清国属 高麗国旗". It translate "属 belongs" to "大清国 The Great Sino" "高麗国旗 Korean flag" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Flag_of_old_Korea.jpg
