[edit] Second Edition vs. Metal Box?
As this album contains the same music as Metal Box, any further updates should probably be made on that page instead of this one.
I originally set up this article as a re-direct to Metal Box. But since Second Edition has its own album cover, I decided it deserved its own article, if only as a placeholder for its Wikiproject Albums table.
Again, any further information about Metal Box or Second Edition that isn't specifically about the latter should probably go in the Metal Box article.

I think this should be merged with Metal Box. The CD versions of Metal Box and Second Edition are the same. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Pimpalicious (talk • contribs) 23:21 8 October 2005 (UTC)
- Are they? The Metal Box CD running order is the same as that of the original vinyl record edition. Second Edition always had a different running order than Metal Box (at least the dbl.-album and cassette did). -- Gyrofrog (talk) 05:07, 9 October 2005 (UTC)
- The CDs of Metal Box and Second Edition are indeed the same and even with the minor difference on earlier formats, they are probably more alike than the US and UK versions of The Clash's first album which doesn't have 2 articles. Also, I've seen several resources call Second Edition just an American version of Metal Box, VH1 for example: http://www.vh1.com/artists/az/pil/bio.jhtml By the way, I used to be Pimpalicious, sorry for the super late response. I'll say it again, just for the hell of it, merge with Metal Box! The Secretary of Funk 00:17, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
- Given your comments, and the general consensus at Talk:Metal Box, I have merged Second Edition to Metal Box. I will leave the talk page here, so as to preserve this discussion, but I will remove the WP:ALBUM infobox. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 04:47, 6 October 2006 (UTC)
