I have provided considerable sourced material to address the situation in new England from 1800 through the Hartford convention. I will continue with the events as they relate to the Mexican War. I have removed the Livingston reference since it is vastly overstates the situation in New England. As the other sources I've used demonstrate, the threats of secession did not represent New England as a whole rather than small segments of the political community within New England.
