[edit] History
In 2005, Secured Dimensions was launched with an initial investment of US$600,000. Secured Dimension developed a new system for software code protection which was less vulnerable to hacking than it's competitors' solutions (Macrovision's SafeCast)[citation needed]. Soon after the initial financing, Prof. Arie Scope, the former CEO of Microsoft Israel joined the Board of Directors at Secured Dimensions. In January, 2007 it was reported by Red Herring that the Microsoft Corporation had purchased Secured Dimensions for several million dollars. The sale was completed soon after the initial report and by the end of the month Secured Dimensions was displaying a Microsoft Subsidiary Logo on their website.
