Second Church of Christ, Scientist, located at 946 West Adams Boulevard, in Los Angeles, California, is an historic structure that on April 2, 1987, was added to the National Register of Historic Places. As of 2008, the entire church property, along with the adjoining Christian Science Reading Room, have been closed down, locked up, and put up for sale at the current asking price of $8 million.
The homeless man shown in the picture at right of August 28, 2007 was still living on that exact same spot on April 9, 2008.
