Seckford Hall

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Seckford Hall is a Tudor period house in Seckford Hall Road, Woodbridge, Suffolk. In the same road are Seckford Golf Club and Seckford Farm.

The Hall was the family home of Thomas Seckford and is now a luxury hotel, which is said to contain furniture that was once used in Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle, including the very chair that King Henry VII was said to have died in. The Seckford Hotel was acquired by the Bunn family in 1950 establishing it as a first class hotel and restaurant.
