- The image is significant because it was used to promote a notable 3-D color film noir produced in [1953]. Only a handful a color noirs were produced during the noir "classic period" (1940-1959).
- The image of the actors--Robert Mitchum and Linda Darnell--is used as the film's primary means of visual identification of them in the Second Chance (1953 film) article.
