[edit] Editing
Hi,
I notice you've written an article on Nita Bieber‎, which looks like your first article, and uploaded some images.
I thought I'd drop you a note to fill you in what to expect next.
-
- Articles on Wikipedia are all communally owned and managed, so you'll see other editors contributing with the aim of adapting the draft towards an encyclopedia entry (rather than resume) style. If it's felt by anyone that it doesn't meet our criteria, then a discussion will take place whether to keep or remove it, and likewise anmy content which isn't within our manual of style, or article norms.
-
- The article may also be tagged for various editorial matters. Tags relating to article condition are removed when a consensus forms amongst editors that the relevant editorial concern has been suitably addressed.
-
- Images have a very strict policy, and unless they meet these criteria cannot be used.
There are four main editorial policies you need to know: Wikipedia is neutral (neutral point of view), does not contain personal comments, thoughts, or personal knowledge/opinions of editors, but only what can be shown to be published in reliable sources (no 'original research'), and verified reliably (verifiability). You also may not use WIkipedia as a promotional means, so advertizing yourself, your business, or things connected to you (the image of yourself for example). And of course, good conduct is valued and sought.
If you have further questions please do not hesitate to contact me via my talk page. If you have a problem please ask. Thanks!

[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Nita's Life cover.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Nita's Life cover.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot (talk) 20:41, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
