[edit] Clarification
I haven't gone on talk and discussion pages much, so here goes.
My deletion of the word "Nowhere" from the page "Incandescent light bulb" was a removal of minor vandalism, which I tend to do from time to time, and I believe reverting my edit restored that act of vandalism. It seems some other user of this IP address three years ago vandalized a page, so I'm assuming it's the history connected to this particular IP address that prompted a revert. I should probably login before editing to prevent this sort of misunderstanding.

- You're right, I restored your edits. As I said in your talk page, it will be better if you have a user name as we tend to see changes by IPs as suspicious (as in fact the change made by an anonym IP after yours was indeed vandalism).--Seba5618 11:55, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Pathetic CSD
Hi Seba5618,
Hopefully you're enjoying your stay on Wikipedia. However, you recently marked Pathetic for CSD when it's a stub for a dictionary word with a corresponding template for Wiktionary. I'd keep the article, as I don't think it really qualifies as a page with no context. Feel free remove the template if you agree, but I'll let you figure this one out for yourself. -- dhp1080 (u·t·c) 16:23, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
- With that reasoning every word on the wiktionary could have a wiki entry with a template for Wiktionary, anyway an administrator has just agree with you so I guess it will stay :) --Seba5618 16:28, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Amityville horror
Hi - I admire your persistance in trying to make the article accurate. I don't mean to niggle as I think you are on the right track but I think it is important to focus on the content (which you are doing) and not on the contributer. I think you are struggling a little with not focussing on the contributer. It seems to me that he is seeking a conversation and wikipedia isn't the place for it really. It seems a bit sad. I was concerned that the article he had written about himeself was deleted for the wrong reasons - ie his poor editorial behaviour rather than on whether he was actually notable enough per WP:BIO. I did some research to see if I could write an article about him but the sources on the internet do not support anything other than the most stubbiest stub and thus I don't think it appropriate that I write such an article. I commend however the work you have done in making the article on the movie more accurate. Thank you for uploading an image of the DVD cover - it helps to substantiate the article. Regards --Golden Wattle talk 21:26, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
- To clarify - this is in reference to the fact that I refactored your article talk page comments slightly so as to focus on content rather than the contributer!--Golden Wattle talk 21:27, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
- Well I really tried turning the other cheek but now have to admit my failure too in some ways (see Wikipedia:Administrators'_noticeboard/Incidents#User:Steindavida.2C_again ) - but I still think focussing on the purpose of the encyclopaedia which is building content is much more fun than trading insults with some poor deluded chappie Regards Golden Wattle talk 07:10, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Tarkovsky
Please stop vandalism dear Seba5618. I don`t know nothing about Tarkovsky! Look: http://www.pravda.ru/culture/2002/4/67/189/3707_tarkovskiy.html
—Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.50.198.88 (talk) 20:10, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
- If you don't know nothing then why editing it, anyway I see you gave a source (though in russian), I will now let it be settled on the talk http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Andrei_Tarkovsky --Seba5618 21:28, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] why??
why do you think its okay to remove true stories about matt? we were there and lived them so someone who knows nothing about it should just know their place and stay out of it!!!!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.129.39.113 (talk) 21:15, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Your edits to The Mysterons (Captain Scarlet episode)
Don't revert my valid edits. Did you even bother to read my edit summary or look at what I had corrected, or do you just revert any IP editor on sight? And you should use edit summaries as well. 172.206.107.77 17:40, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
- Looking at your talk page, it appears this isn't the first time you have reverted a valid edit by an IP editor. Your earlier comment "we tend to see changes by IPs as suspicious" is just wrong, I don't know where you get that idea from or who you mean by "we". If you talk to admins or regular editors, they will tell you that most IP editors make constructive edits, and newly registered editors frequently vandalize articles. But if you're only looking for IP edits, you wouldn't know that. 172.206.107.77 17:58, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
-
- Indeed I was wrong in removing your change. Btw, check [2], 96% of vandalism comes from anonymous editors. And by "we" I meant Recent changes patrolers. Again, sorry for reverting your edits!.--Seba5618 20:50, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Remember to Warn Vandals
--LeyteWolfer 17:41, 14 November 2007 (UTC) (talk|contribs)
- Yes, I warn them...not always though, when I'm not quite sure about the vand. or when many IP's are involved. Anyway, it's kind of unpleaseant to be "templated", on the other hand it's an honour to be the first to receive your template :-).--Seba5618 19:49, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
- I was wrong, I'm not the first one to received your template[3]...now I'm offended :)--Seba5618 19:53, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry you can't claim to be my 'first,' and that I can't check to see if someone is an active warner (in other respects). But thanks for the positive 'tude. --LeyteWolfer 20:32, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
