Talk:Sebastian the Ibis

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The page says that in Egyptian mythology that the ibis was the last animal to leave before a hurricane and the first to return, which all sounds very romantic, but last I checked not very many hurricanes hit Egypt annually, so I wonder if this is accurate

In Egypt, it would have just been a very powerful storm like the hurricanes that hit Florida. It's artistic license and analogy.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 06:11, 24 November 2006 (UTC)

Sebastian versus The Turtle - I'm questioning whether this is really needed at all. If it is there should be some sort of citation. Having the words "by far" in the sentence makes it seem to be a non-neutral point of view. Limasbravo (talk) 18:31, 2 January 2008 (UTC)

That sentence is obvious vandalism. If you see such nonsense, please be bold and fix it. --B (talk) 21:43, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
