Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, please do not add promotional material to articles, as you did to Fred Kahler. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" is strongly discouraged. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. Seraphimblade Talk to me 15:02, 26 May 2008 (UTC)

I have read everything on the Wikipedia welcome page and I can not see how what I wrote about Fred Kahler is advertising. You could consider the Laurence Caruana, Colin Wilson, and Ken Wilber or any entry to be advertising. I've written nothing but the facts. Fred Kahler is a noticeable outsider artist. The High Museum in Atlanta is working toward a show of Fred's work Would you please tell me what part of this you consider advertising and I'll change it. Fred Kahler deserves a place in wikipedia. His work is unique and people have a right to know it's here. --Searchingwind (talk) 17:04, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

Can you point me to some verifiable and reliable sources which are written by authors independent of the subject? If so, I can help you write a neutral article on the subject. If there is little or no such source material, however, an article on the subject would not be appropriate. The references I can find (and that were cited) largely mention him in passing, and do not support most of the article material, but if more substantial material exists, an article may be possible. As to the ad tone, one gets the distinct impression that one is reading a glossy brochure selling his art, complete with positive quote-snippets, or at the very least a fan piece. Articles are required to be neutral in tone. For the other articles you mentioned, they are certainly not great and could use some improvement, but aren't at the blatant-ad level required for speedy deletion. You are, of course, welcome to improve them. Seraphimblade Talk to me 05:05, 31 May 2008 (UTC)

I see what you're saying and I'll see what else I can find. Thank You! --Searchingwind (talk) 18:00, 31 May 2008 (UTC)
