[edit] Sean the Spook
My name is Sean Hattersley, I am 18, and I live near Essington, Staffordshire. My screenname is Spook not as in ghost or spirit but as in Spy, I am very good at finding facts and snippets out on pretty much anything. My interests are diverse and many, and I have been able to look things up on my own as I left school halfway through Year 8 to be Home Educated for personal reasons. So over the past four years or so I have pretty much taught myself everything I know, and I haven't even been on Wikipedia for that long, since early 2005. I believe that Wikipedia is a great fountain of all knowledge, and is still growing, and that even the smallest stub can be expanded on even on what most people think is really boring.
[edit] Interests
My main interests are Meteorology and Photography, usually I put them both together and take photos of weather. Although my main them for photography is Landscape and Scenic. I like to take photos and my library is pushing 10,000. On a recent Holiday to Somerset & Devon I took 960 Photos. I have a nearly complete collection of photos of Clouds, of which I know all the Latin Names too by heart.
My other interests are Astronomy, Art & Literature, Medieval History, Cartography, Geology and World Cultures
[edit] My Goals on Wikipedia
I have already contributed to quite a few articles. Sometimes just little snippets little more than a few words long, and some really large articles which started off as stumpy stubs. One of which is on Lake Vyrnwy Nature Reserve, which is a favourite beauty spot of mine. When I am finished with that Article adding a few photos of my own (once I have figured out how), I am going to start next on Cannock Chase, which I know deserves more than what is just written there, due to its long history dating back as a Royal Hunting Forest during Medieval Times, to its modern history during the World Wars. Also it has avery interesting geology which has barely been touched upon. After that I am might do a few more of my favourite beauty spots. Such as the Long Mynd in Shropshire and Locations around Exmoor.
Ultimately if one of my Articles or Photos were to get onto the Homepage I would be very chuffed!
