[edit] His suprising proposal
Before Sean packs his bags and heads for Iraq, he decides to save Emma from other guys, By proposing to her. When Emma accepts his marriage proposal He's off to Basic Training. However, shortly after his departure, Emma gets cold feet and almost breaks the engagement.
After Sean comes home from Basic Training, he prepares to tell Emma a dark secret he's been holding inside.
[edit] Iraq
Look, if Sean is joining the armed forces, he's joining the CANADIAN armed forces. Canada does not participate in the Iraq confict, so he certainly is not "heading for Iraq" nor should Emma be mad at him due to her objection to the war in Iraq.
I think her objection is primarily to do with him leaving her at all and secondly as a general objection to the armed forces.

[edit] Terrible Writing
First off, this like many other degrassi pages are written with bad grammar and plenty of spelling mistakes. The phrase next step in their relationship for real..is used (referrring to him and Emma) I assume that means they are going to have sex, couldn't we just say that? or put it in brackets. In season 6, Jay confesses about the 'incident at the ravine' That needs to be explained. (What happened at the ravine) The last paragraph of season 6, it seems more like an episode highlight, Couldn't it just be shortened to sean was involved in a fight between the two schools. And in the same paragraph it says, Emma and Manny get into it. I'm going to assume that means a fight, but again I think it should be mentioned. Tydamann (talk) 16:17, 21 April 2008 (UTC) lat
[edit] Break-up with Emma
I thought I'd mention on the Talk page here that there never was an official break up between Emma and Sean, and thus it mustn't be stated in this article that there was one. Sean went off to the army and Emma showed annoyance towards him for this and his lack of communication, but that doesn't mean that they've separated. Yes, she may have started seen Damien, but still, looking at the facts, Emma and Sean technically haven't broken up yet.
