The Sealed Knot is currently a re-enactment society depicting military and civil life during the 17th Century. Started in 1968 the society reached its peak in the late 80’s with over 8000 members. While based in the U.K. the society has performed on the European mainland and has members and regiments based in Europe and America.
The Society, a registered charity, has raised £M to assist organisations throughout the U.K. and has made donations to museums for the preservation of Civil War artifacts and for the construction of memorial plaques to commemorate notable sites around the U.K.
