[edit] Definition

There is no reference to this topic in either W. H. Murray's The Hebrides or the Collins Encyclopaedia of Scotland. It may be a modern usage and I have not been able to find a verifiable definition. Looking at atlases and the OS suggests it covers the area south of the Minch, but may not contain the Hebrides as a whole. Ben MacDuiTalk/Walk 11:42, 15 March 2008 (UTC)
