Seaside Signal

The Seaside Signal is a weekly newspaper published in Seaside, Oregon, United States by Seaside Signal, Inc. It is owned by the Mullen and Hicks families who publish 13 other newspapers, including the Havre Daily News of Havre, Montana and the News Letter Journal of Newcastle, Wyoming.

The Signal was founded Saturday, March 25, 1905 as a weekly. It was edited by R. M. Watson. The paper was a tabloid format and cost $1.50 for a year's subscription. On May 11, 1907 the newspaper changed to a broadsheet format. Over the last century the Signal has changed formats numerous times.
