Sean Thomas Russell

Sean Thomas Russell (1952- ) the historical naval novelist, was born in Toronto, Ontario in 1952. His first novel Under Enemy Colours, published in 2007 introduces a new British naval hero and a fictitious frigate in the guise of HMS Themis.

Being brought up in a rural Canadian community, Russell learnt to appreciate the value of literature and being near the beach sailing.
He moved to Vancouver after college and lives on Vancouver Island with his wife and family.
