Sean Sorensen (born November 10, 1971) is an American screenwriter and film producer.

Sorensen was born in Anaheim, California. After graduating Saddleback High School in Santa Ana, California, he studied acting at San Diego State University and the University of California at Los Angeles. He is the founder of the film production company Popular Films.

As of 2006, he is best known for writing and executive producing the movie Sealand for Warner Bros. about the history of the Principality of Sealand.

He claims to be the only Sealand-American citizen in the world.
