Sean Harris is a British actor from London's Bethnal Green. He is best known for his parts in the films Creep, in which he played a freakish killer, and 24 Hour Party People, in which he portrayed Ian Curtis. He also appeared in the psychological thriller Trauma in 2004.

He has his first British feature Film Lead in the movie "Saxon", released in 2008.

He is known for his intense, piercing eyes and for being a committed method actor and frequently stays in character throughout long film shoots.^{[citation needed]}

He portrayed serial killer Ian Brady, one of the notorious culprits of the Moors Murders, on ITV1 in the UK.
He also played Nick Sidney in the mockumentary, Brothers of the Head, featured in the 2007 film Outlaw and recently appeared in the television film Wedding Belles by Irvine Welsh.
He appeared in Channel 4's Drama series Cape Wrath as Gordon Ormond.
He also appeared in Mark Ronson's music video for the 2007 single "Stop Me".
He is the Lead role in British Feature Film SAXON - released in 2008.
He is appearing as Arthur Layton in the BBC series Ashes to Ashes.
